Kenny Chesney fans — and, well, who isn’t?! — are stoked for this coming Tuesday because May 19th marks the release of Kenny’s Greatest Hits 2! The disc is wall-to-wall with blockbuster hit singles, including his current smash, “Out Last Night.” Kenny says that all 15 songs on the album have a special meaning to him for different reasons, but he credits the 2001 release of “Young” as the one that really propelled him forward in a big way. Each song takes me to a relationship, it takes me to a break-up, or it takes me to new love, old love; it takes me to a night on stage when the people were singin’ one of these songs back to me so loud that I couldn’t have ever have dreamt it.”

“I felt like that in my career that we’ve had such, so much success since the No Shoes album, and I felt like that we’ve released a lot of different kinds of songs, and we’ve been on the road all this time. And I felt like that now was the perfect time — as any — to try to start buildin’ that bridge to see where the music takes me from here…and I’m excited about that.”
