There’s no doubt about it…Chris Young is hot stuff, and the new issue of Country Weekly proves it once again, as more than 160,000 fans cast their ballots online for Country’s Hottest Bachelor. Chris ranks number-one for the second time, re-claiming the top spot he first won back in 2006.  “A big thank you to all the fans that did it,” he says, “’cause this is a huge deal,” but Chris knows he’s in for a lot of ribbing from his band because whenever they’re out somewhere, he’s sure the guys will use any opportunity to ask people, “Hey, did you know he’s Country’s Hottest Bachelor?” Good guy that he is, Chris views his Hottest Bachelor status with humble appreciation, and great singer that he is, Chris is on the radio now with his new single — the way-cool and appropriately sexy “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song).” (AUDIO INFO BELOW)

“You know the bad thing about this is…it’s really cool, ’cause it’s like, you’re Country’s Hottest Bachelor, and all my buddies are like, ‘Hey, man, that’ll getcha a date.’ And I’m like, ‘Actually, that’s gonna get me made fun of for the next six months on my bus,’ because they will find any and every way to be like, ‘Hey, did you know he’s Country’s Hottest Bachelor?’ like, whenever we’re out anywhere, so my band’ll love this. And there’s also another big joke, before, for like the whole year when I won it the first time, I was like, ‘Yeah, my mom voted a lot,’ so, I was talkin’ to her the other day, she was like, ‘Yeah, I voted for somebody else this time.’ I was like (laughs), ‘Why?’ She’s like, ‘That way, you couldn’t use that this time. You can’t use that in any more interviews. You have to own it and be like, “I got this all on my own.”‘”

  Chris Young says he may get some ribbing from his band, but there are a lot of things rougher than being named Country’s Hottest Bachelor. (:04)
“I’ll take it…it’s not country’s worst dressed, so I mean (laughs), it could be a lot worse.”

“You know, this is a really cool thing for me that they all showed up in force to vote for this, and it’s a great thing for me, and you know, I mean, a big thank you to all the fans that did it, ’cause this is a huge deal.”

  Chris Young says that when it comes to meeting the ladies, some days, he’s right up front, and sometimes, he’s pretty low-key. (:30)
“I don’t know, man…I’m weird as far as, like, who I’ll go up to and approach, female-wise anyway. I mean, it depends on kind of what day you catch me. Some days, I’m like, ‘Nah, I’m not gonna be that guy. I’m not gonna be guy number 800 that goes up and hits on that girl. I’ll wait and see if she walks over here.’ And then (laughs), they don’t, but (laughs) it’s just…and then there’s some days where I’m like, ‘I don’t care…what do you want me to go ask her? Which line do you want me to use to see if she’ll actually respond to it?'”

“I mean, I could just walk around with this…like, just the open Country Weekly magazine everywhere. Just walk around with it and be like, ‘It’s just weird…this guy looks familiar.'”
