Brad Paisley‘s new single is “Start a Band,” a duet with Keith Urban, and it’s not only the most popular new song on country radio this week, but also the first taste of Brad’s upcoming album, Play, which releases on — easy to remember — Election Day, November 4th! Anticipation is already building, with the album set to include Brad’s collaborations with Keith, the great B.B. King and Steve Wariner, as well as a special song with the late Buck Owens…and then the remainder of the album becomes an instrumental playground of cool sounds, all in Paisley style. But just when you thought that was everything — there’s more! Brad topped the charts a few weeks ago with his song, “Waitin’ on a Woman,” and when people saw the music video with Andy Griffith, they wanted to know if they could get a version of the song that had Andy’s vocals in it, too…just like the video. So fans now have one more thing to anticipate, with the news that the Brad & Andy version of “Waitin’ on a Woman” will be included on Play!
- Another amazing song on Play is colorfully titled “Cluster Pluck” — with Brad and an all-star line-up of guitar greats featuring James Burton, Vince Gill, John Jorgenson, Albert Lee, Brent Mason, Redd Volkaert, and Steve Wariner! And if you don’t know your ace guitarists enough to automatically recognize all of those names, that’s all the more reason to get to know ’em and make a beeline to your favorite online music retailer — the digital single for “Cluster Pluck” is on sale now!
