Miranda Lambert just enjoyed the biggest chart hit of her career so far with her song, “Gunpowder & Lead” — and she’s on the radio now with the gorgeous new single, “More Like Her” — but when it comes to defining what she considers a “hit,” it’s not about where the song ends up on a chart ranking, it’s about the fans. In concert, Miranda says, she judges a successful song by “how the crowd reacts to it,” adding, “If people know it and respond to it, then it’s a hit in my eyes.” (AUDIO INFO BELOW)

Miranda Lambert has her own definition of what constitutes a “hit.” (:11)
“You know, to me, I judge how it gets reaction on live shows and how the crowd reacts to it if it’s a hit. I don’t care if it’s number 50 or number one, you know? If people know it and respond to it, then it’s a hit in my eyes.”
