In a post on Instagram last Friday, January 26th, Nate Smith thanked fans and country radio for the success of his song “World On Fire” and it being at the top of the Billboard Chart for 7 weeks. It has since been deemed #1 for an 8th week in a row.
If you guys are just watching this you’re probably gonna find out really shortly that World On Fire has gone seven weeks. I went from $14 in my bank account to a seven week number one and just thank you everybody so much for for believing in me since day one. Thank you country radio. Thank you to the fans. Thank you everyone. This is the best. This is one of the best days of my life. Thank you.
