COREY KENT: RELEASING DEBUT ALBUM HAS BEEN AN EYE OPENING EXPERIENCE (AUDIO)
“The most eye opening experience about making this debut record, I think, is that I’ve realized that there is a different pace of play. I think it’s like going from college football to the NFL. You just have to adapt quicker, things move at a faster speed. And, you know, I guess that’s what, what separates the men from the boys. But I feel like I’ve stepped up to the plate, stepped up to that challenge, and delivered my absolute best in this project. And also just the amount of eyeballs on what you’re doing after you have a little bit of success. And the pressure that comes along with that is, is something that’s new to me. And learning how to stay true to yourself when you have a lot more opinions coming at you is really it’s been a challenge, but it’s been something that I feel like I’ve navigated well and I’m taking what we’ve done well in the past and I’m taking my authentic brand and music that we’ve always been doing and just able to launch it into a bigger platform now.“
