“What’s up y’all this is Dylan Marlowe and this is my song Record High.”
“We’re wrote Record High, it was pretty late at night the title kind of just came up and I actually wrote it with one of my best friends, my tour manager and he’s not really a songwriter. So for him to be on it was pretty cool he just had the idea and he actually said a lot of the lines that are in the in the song. So we ended up finishing it the next day with Abram Dean and Zach Abend. Couldn’t be happier with the way the song turned out. We really just wanted to kind of take the title Record High but make it kind of about the bad parts of a relationship. And the girl even which may or may not be true, may or may not have gotten cussed out as a girl drove out of my driveway one day. So we really just wanted to kind of take the contrast of record high even though they’re not really highs. They’re just ways that the girls can leave you and I would know, so you can take it from me. But we’re just really excited about this song and I hope you all enjoy as much as we do.“
