“Hey this is Corey Kent and this is my new EP ’22 Tapes.”
“I love when a project comes together like this. Obviously, we are writing year-round to try to put the record together. And then sometimes things just kind of fall into place in a way that you didn’t really expect. Like the the puzzle pieces are scattered and then you just finally have an ah-ha moment and see that a few of them fit together perfectly. And so that is the story of ’22 tapes. We kind of teased some music just trying to get a gauge of what people would like to hear on the next record. And there were a few songs in particular that you guys really raised your hand on. And rather than making you wait for them, we just decided let’s give them to you guys as is right now. So here it is.”

“With my new project ’22 Tapes, I really hope that all of the original OG fans of ours feel like we are just really focusing on them because at the end of the day, that is who this project is for. It’s for the people that have been supporting us since day one that want more music. And so rather than wait and try to tweak and perfect things, the way that we try to do oftentimes in the studio, we just said, we’re just going to give them the music as is they’re ready for it. We’re going into the holiday season. There’s not a lot of music being released. And so we wanted to make sure that you guys had something to get through the holidays something new and exciting, and I hope you guys love it.”
