“The second that you become a mother, you understand that love of not being able to love anything this much, and it being exhilarating and instantly terrifying. Because it’s real. It’s not a concept anymore. It’s a real person that you made. And yeah, the love is unconditional and you you feel this ferocity of being a mother. So yeah, I think that like protective element comes in that like, I’ll do anything for this baby thing comes in and yeah, it’s one of the greatest gifts is being able to raise a kid and do it in a way that’s on your own terms. And all you’re there to do is just lead them and kind of be the lighthouse, but not necessarily project your ideals and way of doing things on them. It’s to just help them find their path and you’re just the lightkeeper to that path.“
