“Yeah, We Got History- It’s that problem in life where you, you’re not, you’re not still hung up on that old person, but you definitely don’t hate them. You gotta think about them from time to time. You’re totally moved on, you love someone else, but every now and then they might come back. And the point is, it’s like you don’t have a future anymore. But damn, you still got history, you lived a lot of life of that person. Even though they helped you grow, they’re still you know, to me, you’re always going to get those flashbacks. I think people think about that. And they think it’s taboo and they’re like, I shouldn’t have these thoughts. I want to put that into a song that allowed people to say, hey, you’re not the only one. But every now and then might get a flashback and say, Hey, it’s okay that you know, we’ve moved on but you know, I had a lot of life for that person. And that’s what the song’s about.“
