Like all of this craziness has been so awesome to be able to celebrate a huge number one. It’s the first number one I’ve got co-producing with De Stefano. It’s my 13th Number one, it’s Mitchell’s second number one. And I’m just so proud of this song. I mean, it’s one of those things that I hoped would connect with people. But just seeing the reaction live and seeing it continue to grow over the past several months has just been absolutely incredible. And I’m so grateful to have another number one at the top of the charts with At The End Of A Bar.“
“Chris Young is one of my favorite artists. Like listening to country music before we were even friends, I just loved his voice. So like to not only be friends with him now, but to have a song with him. To do a duet together and now that be number one, it’s just crazy. It’s one of those moments where like, what is life? What’s going on? You know, we met At The End Of A Bar, and we wrote the song about where we met. You know, that was kind of the concept of you know, the starting point of the song we wrote, is where me and Chris met. And it’s just, I don’t know, it’s just weird. It truly is. It’s like like, I never even thought that I’d meet this guy, let alone like I said, be on a song with him, and singing with him that’s number one. So it’s truly special. He’s become one of my best friends and it’s just extra special get to stand on stage with this guy and celebrate a number one and Chris De Stefano is amazing, our other co writer. And so like do that together and, you know, be friends with the Chris Young. I don’t know. It’s pretty awesome. Pretty weird, pretty cool. And I’m extremely grateful. It’s pretty, pretty neat.”
