KAT & ALEX DEBUT NEW SONG “I WANT IT ALL” (AUDIO & VIDEO)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Rising Country-Latin duo Kat & Alex debuted their new song “I Want It All” along with the accompanying music video, which premiered via broadcast on CMT, CMT Music, and the Paramount Times Square billboard screens. Listen HERE and watch the video HERE.

“‘I Want It All’ is a song about promising someone who has had their heart broken that you’re going to be there for them no matter how hard life gets. Loving someone isn’t just about all the ups in life, it’s about sticking together through all of the downs as well,” Kat & Alex said. 

“The idea was brought up in a writing session with AJ Pruis, where we talked about just recently getting married. It’s basically wedding vows in a song. This song means so much to us because when we got married, we promised to be there for each other through the good, bad, and everything in between.” 

Kat is a Miami native and first-generation American from a Cuban family. Alex, who is of Puerto Rican descent, grew up in Northwestern Georgia and moved to Miami by middle school. Their paths crossed after Kat witnessed Alex singing one day at their church, and the two quickly forged an eternal bond after meeting up to collaborate. “I Want It All” arrives just a month after the duo celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary. 

Already trailblazers in country music, Kat & Alex aimed to break sonic barriers with the song, incorporating pop-like vocal riffs melded with baritone guitar licks and a singalong post-chorus. The pair teased the song on TikTok earlier this year in a post that has collected over 900k views and nearly 140k likes.

Named a CMT Listen Up artist for 2022 and singled out as an Artist to Watch by Sounds Like Nashville, Country Now and others, the duo is “well on their way to stardom” (People Magazine) and continues to establish themselves as Nashville’s most compelling outliers.
