“Diamond. You know, if you haven’t caught on yet, you know, I got a little bit of a hopeless romantic in me I guess a little bit. I think on first look at me and my music you may think, oh, this dude’s like, you know, he just loves making like party, fun songs you know, in which I do. I love making good time music. But a lot of the music too has a romantic tinge to it. You know, I’m somebody that is very happily in love, and I love singing songs about love. You know, I think it’s a big part of life, you know, and an important part. So that song is all about all the experiences I’ve had traveling, doing music, you know, I talk about everywhere I’ve been. I’ve been all over the country, I’ve been to Tokyo, you know, I played in Japan. All over Europe, Australia, and I’ll talk about all the amazing things that I’ve seen all the amazingly beautiful things that I’ve seen. But nothing is as beautiful as my wife, you know, and the way that she shines is brighter than you know, the Hollywood sign is brighter than those New York City Lights, is brighter than anything, you know. And so I just hope it’s a song that like people can kind of like think about the person they love and agree with me on it.”
