Hey y’all. I’m Miranda Lambert and my new song “If I Was A Cowboy” is out now. I wrote this song with my newfound friend Jesse Frazier. It was our first write together actually and we had a blast we, we went out to the west in our heads and I got to use all my favorite little quirky cowgirl terms, like hairpin trigger, for instance. So I’m really really excited about this song and it makes me bring out my inner cowgirl.
I wrote this song with my new friend Jesse Frazier. We met doing the remix of ” Tequila Does.” And, he and I just got together one day one afternoon for a write and this is what came out of it. You know, it’s funny, he’s a Detroit boy and I’m an East Texan, but somehow we wrote a song about the Wild West together. So it’s pretty cool.

“I wrote this song with my new friend, Jesse Frasure. “If I Was A Cowboy” will hit country radio airwaves Monday (10/18) and follows Lambert’s Top 5 hit “Settling Down” from her GRAMMY Award winning album Wildcard, which also produced No. 1 smash “Bluebird.”
In addition to her new music, Lambert is also releasing her first ever fragrance – Idyllwind Eau De Parfum by Miranda Lambert. Combining Lambert’s favorite scents, the perfume includes notes of Georgia sweet peach blossoms, and musky golden sandalwood that stirs memories of the piney woods of East Texas. Lambert is currently nominated for Entertainer, Female Vocalist, and Musical Event of the Year (“Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” with Elle King) at “The 55th Annual CMA Awards.” She is the most nominated female artist in the history of the CMA Awards and recently became the third most nominated artist overall, tying with Brad Paisley.
