The CMA Awards have always been one of my favorite things about each November it usually falls on my birthday. And a lot of times I’ve gotten to take home a really cool birthday present in form of a CMA award. So, but more than that, I’m just happy to be part of the community and part of the country music family and you know, after doing this for so many years, still being able to be nominated and go and be part of it and see a lot of my friends and see performances it just it never gets old. It always gives me butterflies and I’m super thankful and grateful.

Superstar Miranda Lambert continues her reign as the most nominated female artist in CMA Awards history as she earns three nominations today: Entertainer, Female Vocalist, and Musical Event of the Year (“Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” with Elle King).

These new nominations also push Lambert to tie with Brad Paisley as the third most nominated artist overall.

This marks Lambert’s fifth nod for Entertainer of the Year, 15th consecutive nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year – which she has won seven times – and eighth nomination for Musical Event of the Year, a category she previously won in 2014 (“We Were Us” with Keith Urban). Throughout her storied career, Lambert has earned 14 CMA Awards and 58 nominations.

“The 55th Annual CMA Awards” airs live from Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 10 on ABC.
