“Somewhere Cool With You” – Story Audio
Hey, what’s up, it’s Adam Doleac and my new song “Somewhere Cool With You” is about taking a vacation with the person you love most. Where you might ask? Anywhere, don’t care, throw a dart at a map. I wrote this song from the middle of a lockdown. So the inspiration is very, very real. And I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one ready to get out of town and take a little vacation. So yeah, it’s supposed to make you want to grab your person, pack a bag and go somewhere. Cool. That’s why I wrote it. That’s what it does for me, and I hope it does the same thing for you.

Arista Nashville rising star Adam Doleac releases new track, “Somewhere Cool With You,” today. Listen here.

“‘Somewhere Cool With You’ is about taking a trip with your person,” said Doleac. “Where you might ask? Doesn’t even matter. ‘Anywhere, don’t care, long as you’re right there baby it’s cool with me…’ It’s a drop everything, spontaneous, throw a dart at a map and go kinda feeling. I wrote this song in the middle of quarantine, so the inspiration is VERY real for this one. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only ready to get back to normal, pack a bag, and go somewhere cool. If you feel that too, this one’s for you.”

Written by Doleac alongside Josh Jenkins, Matt Jenkins and Jared Keim, “Somewhere Cool With You” arrives on the heels of the singer’s ultraromantic tune, “Another,” hitting No. 1 on SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Weekend Countdown this past weekend.

This summer, Doleac released the “infectious” (MusicRow) “Key to the City,” which served as the promotional anthem for ESPN’s coverage of the 2021 NCAA Men’s College World Series. The opportunity was the ultimate full circle moment for the singer, who competed in the same tournament while playing baseball for The University of Southern Mississippi. Additionally, Doleac debuted “Coulda Loved You Longer” earlier this year, which Country Swag called “delightfully charming and mesmerizing.” The song is currently amassing over a million on-demand streams per week.

Doleac is kicking off his opening stint on Zac Brown Band’s The Comeback Tour tonight in Wantagh, NY. For tickets and more information, visit AdamDoleac.com.

About Adam Doleac:
Hattiesburg, Mississippi native Adam Doleac’s high-gear drive has made his life a journey with many destinations, from stadiums as a baseball star to Music Row as a hit songwriter — the mainstage, however, may be his final stop . He attended the University of Southern Mississippi on baseball scholarship after turning down a full-ride scholarship to play golf at a different university. It was at Southern Miss where Doleac became impassioned with music; writing songs with teammates and learning to play guitar. After he began playing hometown gigs, Doleac posted a performance of one of his songs on YouTube. The visual accrued millions of views and caught the attention of Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Now, a co-writer of songs recorded by stars such as Kane Brown, Gabby Barrett, Darius Rucker, and Hootie and the Blowfish, and equipped with two No. 1’s on SiriusXM’s The Highway for his own hits “Famous” and “Another,” he continues to stake his claim as one to watch in Nashville. With his latest tracks, the spontaneous “Somewhere Cool With You,” the ultraromantic “Coulda Loved You Longer,” and the infectious pump-up anthem “Key to the City,” his music can’t be confined to a single box any more than his talents. Dubbed “the hero country needs” by Popdust , he has toured with Carrie Underwood, Kane Brown and Zac Brown Band, among others. Doleac’s music has been described by Rolling Stone as “anchored not only in the trends of Top 40 radio, but also the blue-collar grit of Bob Seger and the bluesy influence of his Mississippi hometown.”
