I am so excited to get back on the road and start playing shows again can’t wait. This is something that I know my band and crew have been looking forward to. I know everybody out there that’s that said something on social media or if I’ve seen you in person on one of the rare occasions. Everybody’s been talking about it, and it’s gonna be amazing.
I mean, the thing that I’m most excited for is really getting to play shows of any kind. So even if we aren’t all the way back to normal as of right now, you know we are starting to get shows back. So you know, eventually being at the point where we’ve got you know, just absolutely sold out amphitheater or arena show. I mean, those are some of the my favorite things.
So last March, I went from being the busiest I’ve ever been to the complete opposite. The curtain kind of got dropped on the music industry. We were the first ones to go, and we’ll be the last ones to come back. Which sucks, but it’s just, it is what it is. And so, I think everyone, including myself, is more than excited to get back out and see the fans again. Me personally, I’ve had my first number one song during the pandemic, so I haven’t even played a show with the number one song. The last show I played last March, I don’t even know if it was top 40 yet. And so we could potentially, by the time we play the next show, the second single could be, you know, going up the chart. So yeah, definitely see a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s gonna be fun.
Man, me and the guys can’t wait to get back on the road. You know, we’re willing to do whatever it takes to get back out there. I’m so excited to step out in front of that first crowd. I don’t even know if I’ll remember how to do it anymore, but I’m gonna have a damn good time finding out.
It’s really hard to undersell how excited we all are about these shows, our first shows back. Getting on that bus and getting down the road and playing for crowds of people. And playing songs that we haven’t had a chance to play in front of people yet is man, it’s the reason that I wanted to do this in the first place was that live show. And you know we’ve called this the year of the mule because we tried to make everything happen. We’re working as much as we can, and we’re going to squeeze two nights of fun into every single night we play. Because 2020 sucked, and so that’s how we’re going to fight back.
I cannot express to you how excited I am to get back on the road to play shows. It’s what I live for. It’s what I crave. It’s why I do what I do. And just seeing people interacting with human beings is so important in my life. So I cannot wait to do that again, to slap a hand from the stage, to see people, to do meet and greets to play a show in front of human beings. I don’t think there’s anything in the world. I’ve been waiting for more.
I’m excited about getting back on the road and playing live shows again because I missed the connection to all the country music fans out there. It’s why I love music so much. It’s because music connects us. Music brings us together. And unfortunately, because of COVID, we’ve been apart for a long time. But now it’s time to celebrate y’all ’cause it’s time to bring it back together and enjoy live shows again.
I can’t wait to get back on the road. I miss it so much. It was the whole reason why I decided to go from being a songwriter to being an artist. So that I could connect with everybody face to face out on the road playing live shows, and hanging out after the show shaking hands, given hugs, and just spending time with the country music fans all over the country. So I’m looking forward to it, and it’s happening really, really soon.
We are so excited to get back on the road and start playing shows we cannot wait. We’ve been rehearsing, and you know we’ve just been waiting, God over a year now, and we can’t wait for the first time we walk out there and just see you guys again, all the fans. And hope to see you soon.
It’s been so weird to be home. I’ve loved the time I’ve gotten to spend with Maren and our baby. If you’re going to pick a year to have to take off, I think this would definitely be the one for us. But obviously, we miss our fans terribly. I missed the bus; I miss my band. I miss like certain songs that I always look forward to in my set. And so when we do get the green light to kind of let it go, I’m really excited to have that bus pull up and to jump on it and to sleep in my bunk and then play a rock show. I mean, that’s what everybody who does this job dreams of doing when they grow up. And this is the only job I’ve ever wanted since I was 11 years old. So to have that part of it taken away was really hard. But I know that once we get the green light, it’s going to be full go, full send, and it’s going to be amazing. So cannot wait to see all of you out there. Cannot wait to play some shows and turn up really, really loud. But yeah, it’s coming real soon.
Tom: Uh, Man. Yeah, I mean, we’re so excited to just get back out and play shows again. We’ve had many, many sleepless nights crying, staring at the ceiling. And you know I feel like just to be out and play live music again it’s gonna be so special. And I feel like everyone involved, from the fans to you know, the musicians to everyone, is just going to be so like appreciative to be there again. I know that we certainly will, too, and to see it kind of coming back slowly is very excitement.

I am so excited to get to go back out on the road and see you guys again. I can’t even handle it. My heart is bursting. I’m so looking forward to getting to play music, sing songs together, get to see you guys after the show. Give everybody a hug. So, so, so excited.
