“THE REST OF OUR LIVES” – Intro Audio
Drew Green: So I wrote “The Rest of Our Lives” in lives in Los Angeles. And it was the first week that I’ve been away from my wife longer than a week. And I feel like a lot of the songs that we wrote that week had to do with me and her and just that special somebody, and I feel like the world could relate to “The Rest of Our Lives” and I hope y’all like it.

Nashville, Tenn. – Rising Villa 40/Sony Music Nashville artist Drew Green released his new song, “The Rest of Our Lives” recently. Listen here.

Co-written by Green and Mitch Allen, the heartfelt song follows the singer’s latest release, “Hooch,” which Lyric Magazine praised as a “funky, FGL-meets-R&B-meets-Brantley drinking song.” New York Country Swag  added, “[‘Hooch’] is a wild ride, as Green digs his heels into his traditional country roots, yet is delightfully paying homage to his modern vibes at the same time.” More recently, Green shared the music video for his song “She Got That,” a cut from his debut EP, DIRT BOY Vol. 1. Critically-acclaimed by MusicRowCowboys & Indians, and Country Beat Magazine, “She Got That” peaked at No. 2 on Spotify’s Hot Country playlist and was recently added to rotation at SiriusXM’s The Highway.

Named an Artist to Watch in 2021 by Pandora and one of 25 Country Newcomers to Watch in 2021 by CM Chat Live, Green continues to garner critical acclaim for his ““terrific fusion of just-folks vocal and supreme country lyrics” (MusicRow).

About Drew Green:
As a McMinnville, Tennessee, native, Drew Green grew up just beyond earshot of Nashville’s storied country music industry. When he landed a gig as the singer for Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge house band, he began making trips to write and perform in the city. From there, he went on to become one of Music Row’s most prolific songwriters, signing a publishing agreement in November 2018 with Grammy-winning Brett James’ Cornman Music, a co-venture with Warner/Chappell Nashville. James is also Green’s manager. In 2019, Florida Georgia Line cut “Colorado,” which Green co-penned with Hunter Phelps and Michael Hardy (HARDY), for their No. 1 album,  Can’t Say I Ain’t Country . Now, with a collection of more original songs than most artists can ever claim, the singer is poised to launch an equally fruitful artist career. For further info on Drew Green, visit www.drewgreen.com
