After a year hiatus, March Madness is back. Some of Sony Music Nashville artists
KANE BROWN AND CHRIS YOUNG
CY: I don’t know. What’s your favorite thing about March Madness?
KB: I just love the competitiveness. I’m a huge basketball fan. I also love betting and I always think that my bracket is going to be 100% and I fail every time but I always – you know that’s my favorite thing about it.
CY: Mine is making a bracket. And I missed it so much last year. Obviously, there was a lot of circumstances that made it impossible but looks like it’s gonna happen this year. We gotta get like a bracket challenge or something
KB: Mine’s going to be 100% until it’s not.
CY: Here we go.
CY: I’m pumped that March Madness is happening this year. I mean I know you’re a huge basketball fan . It was kind of one of the last sports that I really got into and became a fan of and it was actually college basketball first because of just what the tournament is and how cool it is and all the teams playing each other.
KB: Yeah, I feel like college they try a lot harder because they’re trying to get to that next step of the NBA so I’m really just excited to see the new players that’s gonna make that jump and see who wants it more.
CY: You think it’s Chalk this year?
KB: I have no idea.
CY: Gonzaga looks good.
LUKE COMBS
LC: I mean I think everybody loves March Madness. You know, obviously I think we all missed it last year. It’s exciting just to know that it’s even going to happen at all this year I think is a pretty awesome thing for a lot of folks. I remember in high school we would try to sneak out of class and go check the Tar Heel’s scores like say we were going to the bathroom and we knew one of our coaches were watching it or something like that so a lot of good memories with it, can’t wait to watch.
MATT STELL
MS: I’m like everybody else. My favorite part of March Madness is gambling. I can’t wait to fill out a bracket and allocate some funds to some teenagers then hope they do what they’re supposed to. I know when I was a teenager I sure did all the things I was supposed to all the time in a way. Really in a reliable way you know so where you can make money off it. That’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to put my livelihood in the hands of college kids. Can’t wait.

MS: Well I would love to see my beloved Arkansas Razorbacks return to prominence and really shock the world and go on a deep run in the tournament, you know? We’ve got the…we’ve got the fire power from outside the preverbal puncher’s chance. Would love to hit a bunch of shots against some really good teams and play some semblance of defense and be excited about my Razorback basketball again. I always am excited but man when they’re making a tournament run, there’s really nothing like it. Go Hogs!
MITCHELL TENPENNY
Yes, that absolutely bummed me out. It’s something – you know sports are such a huge part of my life and March Madness, you know what a crazy month. And there’s always something happening. Always a game on. When that got taken away especially in quarantine when you have nothing to do it’s pretty tough, pretty crazy. I’m just glad it’s back.
M10: I don’t know if I have a complete opinion but I do think Tennessee Volunteer basketball is looking really good this year. Their defense is amazing. I think that they have a good chance to make the final four and then anything can happen from there.
M10: I’m just looking forward to that it’s going to happen. I can’t wait. I love March Madness. It’s so much fun. Again, I love to bet on sports and have a good time but Tennessee volunteer is looking good this year and I can’t wait to see what they do.
