Audio and Video Work Parts to Support LANCO’s “Near Mrs.”
Brandon Lancaster: The inspiration behind “Near Misses,” you know, started as just looking at the different relationships that you’ve been in that you thought were the one- thought it was going to work out and then it ended up not. But then, being able to appreciate where you came from because ultimately it led you to where you are. And, whether it’s that special person or if it’s something else in life- an opportunity or whatever it is kinda being thankful for what you have now and looking at where you came from.”
Multi-Platinum group LANCO brings to life the clever lyrics behind their new roots-rock anthem “Near Mrs.” with the release of its official music video via YouTube this week. The “exceedingly clever” (Music Row) track’s video shares personal footage of their wives, which is intertwined with a hard-charging live performance from the band. Directed by Devon Lancaster, the official music video for “Near Mrs.” was made available Thursday following their YouTube Live Q&A at 5:30 PM CT. Watch it HERE.
“When we got together to write ’Near Mrs.’ we focused on how things happen in life to lead you to where you are today,” lead singer Brandon Lancaster said. “Personally, there are a lot of double meanings throughout this song, and the music video gives a glimpse into that.
