ADAM DOLEAC: ON THE RELEASE OF “ANOTHER (WEDDING VERSION)” (AUDIO)
Hear from Adam Doleac on the recently released version of his song, “Another”
Playing “Another” at weddings has been freaking awesome. The whole thing started through Instagram and social medias. You know, in a normal touring year we are on the road so much that we don’t really have time to do a lot of these really cool, really special things that we’ve been doing the last year or so. So, people will reach out and say ‘hey, is there anyway that you could come play this wedding on this date, in this city?’ And, as an artist, I love doing those things, but like I’ve said, I normally normally don’t have time to do it. And 2020, with all of its things that were negative about it, has given us time to do things like surprise brides and grooms at weddings and stuff like that. So, that’s how it all started. Again, I’m all for getting messages, I’m just not normally able to it. So, we started taking those, reaching back out to the people and setting it up and we’ve been able to probably do 9 or 10 at this point and they’ve been so cool and such a blessing to have in the last year. And that’s kind of the story for behind wedding version of “Another” and why the song came about. You pay attention to your fans at all times and you start seeing that many people come in, telling you they’re using it for their wedding and asking for a wedding version and you just kind of listen to your fans at that point and you go in and we did that, me and my producer Andy Skib, and we added some strings and it just turned out to be really beautiful.
