So I wrote “Cold Beer Calling My Name” with my good buddies Hunter Phelps, Brett Tyler, and Alysa Vanderheym. We wrote this song actually two or three years ago. It took us like three sessions to finish. I think it was Hunter’s idea and, yeah, we just wanted to write a little fun, upbeat kind of song and here we are two or three years later and it’s my single at radio.

Me and Luke (Combs) became buddies in 2016. He hit me up on Instagram. I think everybody kind of knows that story by now, but we became buddies and started writing songs and fast forward a couple years later and he asked me to go out on tour with him. Around the same time, I was in the studio cutting “Cold Beer Calling My Name” just for myself. I had intentions of Luke being on it and just thought it would be cool to have a feature on my first album and so it made sense- You know I was about to go on tour with Luke and yeah, I hit him up and he said yes. I couldn’t believe it.
