I knew that I had the dedication and the drive to be able to get a record deal at some point in my career. Did I think it would be a year and a half into my career? Absolutely not… maybe 4 or 5 years into my career? Yeah, for sure. That work goes in, you know what I’m sayin? But that’s the, that’s where, don’t give up. It literally takes one moment for something to happen that can literally change your life forever. And, dude, the night that I signed and the night that I actually signed the paperwork, I mean, I was so excited. And, like, I felt so amazing. And then that night my wife and I were just lying in bed, and I just like started bawling my eyes out. And, just for no reason, and she was like “what’s wrong” and I was like, “Nothing! Like, literally nothing is wrong at all. Like, literally everything is going the way it’s supposed to go.” And it was just such an overwhelming thing to have everything kinda lining up that we’d been working for that, yeah man, the tears just started flowing just out of nowhere. And I mean, I could be driving down the road and they just like start pouring down. Like, I could hear my song come on the radio and I just like, start bawling my freaking eyes out. So it’s, yeah, it’s incredible, it’s amazing and I’m ready to do whatever. Whatever I have to do to get us where we gotta be. The real work starts now! Like, we’ve been working, but now the real work is about to start.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sony Music Nashville announces the signing of Andrew Jannakos to its RCA Nashville imprint this week.

“I’m so excited to be starting this journey with Sony Music Nashville!” shares Jannakos. “I could not be more grateful to my team and my family, who have supported me from the beginning. It just goes to show that hard work and dedication pay off.”

Flowery Branch, Georgia native Andrew Jannakos grew up in a small-town neighborhood where barbecue parties and backyard soccer games were everyday events. Today, that sense of community translates to his nearly one million followers across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Since Jannakos first teased his breakout single, “Gone Too Soon,” in a viral clip now viewed over ten million times, that community is only getting stronger.

Many of Jannakos’ initial followers knew him for his illustrious run on season 16 of NBC’s The Voice, but after his girlfriend (now wife) posted a video of him cooking dinner while singing along to “Gone Too Soon” to his TikTok in July 2020, the video racked up 250K likes by the next morning, and ultimately earned him more than half a million followers on the platform.

Upon the official release of “Gone Too Soon” to streaming platforms and digital retailers in September, Jannakos debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart, while the track debuted at #12 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and within the Hot 100. “Gone Too Soon” has amassed nearly 14 million on-demand streams to date and continues to receive a strong response from listeners.
