Here’s the Story Behind the Song for Doleac’s latest release, “Another.” Thank you for your support!
So I wrote “Another” with Trannie Anderson and Kyle Jacobs, also our first time writing. Kyle has written a lot of my favorite Lee Brice songs. I think he was on “Rumor,” which was just out for Lee Brice, which is one of my favorites. I kind of had the verse and most of the chorus when I got there that day, which happens sometimes writing. Sometimes you have nothing, sometimes you come up with almost a full idea. And this was one of those days, and they just kind of helped put the finishing touches on it for me, and it turned into this really cool thing. Basically it’s about seeing someone and then realizing you’re never going to want another person except for that person, and for me it’s a big deal because I’m always the kind of person that wants more and wants more all the time. So it’s just about having that clarity of- I knew when I saw you, I was never going to want another. And I think you get that when you listen to the song.
