Yeah, so “Broken Up” is basically about someone who’s still, you know, still broken up about a break up, hence the name of the song. I mean, I wrote about it, you know, when you kind of think you’re over something, and then for whatever reason you might be walking down the street and see something that reminds you of somebody, and all of a sudden everything comes flooding back to you. And that’s kind of what the whole song is about, it’s like you’re still broken up about it, and no matter what, no matter how much you try, it’s still kind of affecting you. I think especially today, during the quarantine and everything we’re going through, I think a lot of people have going through a lot of stuff right now, and this song kind of hit home for a lot of my friends personally, and why I really wanted to release this song.
