Here are some New Year Resolutions from various Sony Artists to kick off 2020.
New Year’s resolutions… I always try to sit down and write them. I feel like they never end up holding up too much. They end up being the get back in the gym. The- Kind of the regular things: diet, what not on that. Really, I like to look at it as just better things year than last and it’ll be a good year.
New Year’s resolutions, I definitely want to, you know, get back in shape, get back out there, but also I want to work hard. I want to get this next song what it needs to be. “Anything She Says” is going to be my life next year and I want to make sure I am mentally prepared to go do that and take care of it and get to play it all over the country and world next year. It’s going to be a lot of fun.
My New Year’s resolution for 2020 is gonna be exercise more- Just generally live a healthier lifestyle, but that was also my resolution last year so we’ll see how that goes.
Tom: Probably to start tolerating each other
Mitch: Yeah 2020…
Tom: Stop fighting every day. (Laughs)
Mitch: I mean I think honestly 2019 has been an incredible year for us so far and we’re extremely lucky, but 2020 we just got more goals and we’re just hoping to keep growing.
Tom: We’re building and I think as next year comes around there’s just more and more things that we’re looking to achieve. And, we’re really excited to have this single (Anything She Says) with Mitchell (Tenpenny) and to be going on the road with him, playing show with him, he’s a great buddy of ours and someone we look up to and I think is a really great way to kind of go into next year on that back of this song and this tour and everything. I think it’s going to set us up for a really good space. So yeah, we’re looking forward to it.
