MATT STELL ANNOUNCES EVERYWHERE BUT ON TOUR, HIS FIRST HEADLINE TOUR

Stell’s Next Single, “Everywhere But On,” Impacts Country Radio Dec. 2, The Follow-Up To His Gold Multi-Week No. 1 Hit “Prayed For You”

Stell on the most memorable time he heard “Prayed for You” on the radio:
Stell: “I’d heard the song hear in town and I’d heard it you know back in Arkansas and that was great, my home town station. The one time that I like heard it though I felt like out in the wild is I was in Vegas this summer and I got in an Uber and it was on the radio. And, I just looked to the left and said, ‘Ma’am, that’s me right there.’ And, she gave me a ‘no it’s not’ look and I gave her- ‘No, no that really is. I just had to tell somebody.’ So, we had a nice little chat in the Uber. Kathleen, I think was her name.”
Allison Veltz (Co-writer): “That’s awesome.”
Stell: “So shout out to Kathleen. I hope you’re having a great day in Vegas in Uber in the line at the airport.”

Stell on the crowd response to “Prayed For You”
“We started this tour before this song had peaked and so I’ve gotten to kind of see the difference in crowd response from you know the top 10, the top 5, to number 1 and then now on the other side of it. It’s a function of how many backs of iPhones that you see in the crowd is like way more now because people are- they’re you know taping and they’re wanting to sing along with and stuff. And, I have to say that’s the most gratifying part of playing it live is that… I got into music- My favorite songs make me feel the way nothing else does and I wanted to that. I wanted to make that kind of music and to see people respond to it that way, validates that.”

Stell on what’s next and next single “Everywhere But On”
“You know, as we talked about, this is a day of firsts so I don’t know what to expect or what to- you know our next single is ‘Everywhere But On.’ It’s a song I wrote with two good friends, Paul Sikes and Lance Miller here in town. And, I love that song and I can’t wait to get people’s ears on it. We get to go out and do a tour of our own coming up in the first quarter of this next year with a couple- with Chris Bandi and Ray Fulcher who- Big fans of those guys, can’t wait to get on the road with them. And, I can’t wait to share new music with folks, but I know that, you know, judging by the shows that we play now is that, you know, ‘Prayed For You’ is the reason that I get to do this stuff. I mean, it’s almost like a 1 + 1 equals 3 thing because not only did we write a song that we all liked, but I got to write it with people that- you know, some of my best friends and so like getting to celebrate today with you know a room full of people that have been supportive and with writers and creators- that’s like the… I feel like everything after that is house money. So, I’m so excited to get on the road and play new songs and play ‘Prayed For You’ for folks and get ‘Everywhere But On’ out in the world too.”

About Matt Stell: After playing college basketball for Drury University for four years, breakthrough country artist Matt Stellstood at a crossroads. One road led to Cambridge, MA where Stell was accepted into Harvard University’s Extension School Pre-Med program. The other road pointed toward Nashville and a career in country music. Stell made the choice to follow his dreams of writing and performing. The 6’7” Center Ridge, Ark. native and self-taught vocalist and guitar-player made the move to Music City in 2014, landing a publishing and management deal with Wide Open Music and a record deal with music industry powerhouse Barry Weiss’ RECORDS/Arista Nashville. His multi-week, No. 1 debut single, “Prayed For You,” written by Stell along with Ash Bowers and Alison Veltz, is certified Gold and approaching Platinum and has amassed over 125 million streams. Stell made his primetime, network TV debut performing the song during a special episode of ABC’s summer reality series “Bachelor in Paradise.” The official music video for “Prayed For You” premiered via People, and has racked up over 10 million views. Stell was the only country artist picked for Vevo DSCVR 2020, which spotlights promising new talent, as well as being named a CMT Discovery Artist and Taste of Country’s “Ones To Watch.” “Prayed For You” along with “Home In A Hometown,” a collaboration with Jimmie Allen, and Stell’s sultry cover of Ariana Grande’s “God is a woman” can be found on Stell’s EP, Everywhere But On . About Chris Bandi: Named a “Breaking Big in Country” artist by Entertainment Weekly, a “New Artist to Hear Now” by The Boot and Sounds Like Nashville , and with over 60 million global audio and video streams on his evocative hit “Man Enough Now,” Chris Bandi is poised for his breakthrough in country music.  The St. Louis, Missouri native has been writing songs since high school. He began making the trek to Nashville during his college days at Ole Miss, honing his craft playing small clubs and making the big move to Music City after graduation.  Nashville took notice of his passion for storytelling and multi-genre tinged vocals, evidenced by a publishing deal with BMG and a RECORDS label deal earlier this year.  A brand-new EP is expected to release in early 2020.
About Ray Fulcher:  Ray Fulcher was born and raised in the small town of Harlem, Georgia and grew up on many of country music’s best songwriters and storytellers. Some of his biggest influences were Alan Jackson, Keith Whitley, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Church and George Strait. He was inspired to go out and buy a guitar after seeing an Eric Church concert at the Georgia Theatre in Athens, Georgia when he was 21 years old. Shortly after Fulcher graduated from the University of Georgia he moved to Nashville, TN to pursue his songwriting and artist career. In 2016 after signing a publishing deal with River House Publishing, Ray released his Here We Go Again EP which debuted Top 10, and led to touring with Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen, as well as extensive headlining and festivals shows. Fulcher co-wrote eight songs on Luke Combs’ Double Platinum debut album, This Ones For You, including the Triple Platinum No. 1 single, “When It Rains It Pours,” as well as Luke’s most recent No. 1 single, “Even Though I’m Leaving”.  His Somebody Like Me EP was released May 24, featuring the singles “Anything Like You Dance” and “Life After Your Leavin” which have already amassed over 15 million streams as well as being featured on Sirius Xm’s “The Highway”. Most recently Ray supported Luke Combs on his Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour along with releasing new singles, “Down On My Window” and “Ghost.”
