Trevor Rosen on Winning CMA Vocal Group of the Year:
The CMA Vocal Group of the Year Award was, you know, it was the second year in a row we’ve won it. This year it really feels like it means that maybe it wasn’t a fluke putting together a streak like that. It was such a big deal, it was such a shock the first time it happened, but the second time it happens you go, “Ok, well maybe we belong here.” And it’s kind of a cool feeling to start to feel like we’re one of the artists that represent country music.

Matthew Ramsey on Performing “One Man Band” during the CMAs:
Performing “One Man Band” on the CMAs was actually a really great experience because, you know, those TV show performances can be sort of nerve-wracking, but this song is such that it’s such a big hit for us, we could actually hear people singing it. And that doesn’t always happen in an award show situation, it can be sort of, you know, an industry crowd, so you don’t necessarily hear everyone singing, but we could kind of hear people singing back to us, and it felt like a normal show to us all of a sudden. And then to have that super cool stage set with that empty theater with the old chandelier hanging, it just really set the right tone for that song, just kind of this grandeur that was once there, and this sort of lonely feeling, but also sort of sweet at the same time, which is kind of the sentiment of that song.
