It is such a dream to get to be a part of this tour. And to get to look around at all of those voices, and how different they are, how unique they are… Everybody has something to say, and to have Miranda as a leader in that and to really be rallying everybody together for this tour is something really special. I feel so honored to get to be a part of this and to get to cheer everybody on, I mean it’s amazing the music everybody’s making. We had the pleasure of getting together to do a version of “Fooled Around and Fell In Love,” and Elle King came in after me but everybody else had been in and sang their parts. I put the headphones on and I was just like, “What is this, is this real life? Like these voices are so special, and I get to sing on this? What!?” So crazy! And then to think about it in the sense of, “I get to be on this tour,” it’s crazy. I know this is a special tour that I will look back on for the rest of my life and think, “We were a part of that in this season right now,” and I’m just really excited to get out there. We leave on Wednesday so I am soooo pumped!
