Luke Combs comments on the moment he learned about his CMA nominations

“I was actually in a dead sleep with I found out my CMA Nominations.  My girlfriend, Nicole, woke me up.  She was on her way to work.  She was very excited and ecstatic, as was I.  It took me a few minutes to process what was going on and it’s just unbelievable.  You know, it’s something that you don’t ever think is possible for yourself and obviously it’s such an honor to be nominated not only for New Artist, but for Best Male Vocalist.  It’s something I don’t take lightly.  It’s been amazing.”
