“I actually am planning on dressing up my dog.  I know that’s maybe not something people would expect out of me.  But, I had a buddy of mine give me a really really good idea.  So, I’m going to go find like a little black sheet and cut it to wear he fits in it and get him some glasses and he’s going to be Harry Porter this year.  So, I just thought that was kind of funny. ”

“Probably one of my best costumes I’ve ever worn on Halloween… I actually spent quite a bit of money and went and got a full like wrap around molded Burger King head from the commercial. And, I wore that with like the tights and the doublet and everything and I walked around. I probably got more photo requests that night than I have at any single show I’ve ever performed.  So, I don’t know what that means, but it was a pretty funny night and no one knew it was me, which was awesome.”

“So Halloween stories from Luke Combs.  Luke Combs is not a traditional Halloween fan I guess you would say.  When you were a 3X there’s not a lot of cool costumes that come in your size.  So, I usually just tell people I’m being an adult for Halloween and then I just kind of wear the clothes I would normally wear.  I think if you are not trick or treating, don’t wear a costume, you know? If you’re not- If you’re not… (makes knocking sounds) If you’re not getting Kit Kats you know, wear some jeans or something, you know? Anyways, I’m- I don’t wanna be the grinch of Halloween either though.  If I could wear cool costumes I would, I’m just mad that I’ve eaten too many hamburgers, but anyways.”

“Well, the Halloween costume and character I always wanted to be growing up was Michael Myers.  I always wanted to be you know the Halloween movies were always scary to me and I always love that mask.  And when I found that mask for the first time, I bought it instantly and I’ve kind of been Michael Myers a few times for a few Halloweens.”

“We love Halloween. You know my kids, they generally just kind of make or create their own costumes.  We don’t like to go spend a ton of money cuz they change their mind for one thing a billion times. But, you know for Halloween usually we just open the door and have a ton of friends over and basically all we ask is that they bring a bag of candy.  And, you know, my neighborhood is crazy for Halloween.  I mean so but we just leave the door open, friends bring candy, and we hit the streets.  But you know, I’m always afraid I’m going to lose a kid– you know we got six kids running through the neighborhood in the dark so I’m always like man could you guys carry a glow stick or something? But, I’m trying to introduce them to some of my favorite comics growing up and they love Jim Carrey.  And so I think, I think they’re going to be different versions of him this year.”
