Chris Young’s childhood dream of being inducted into the Gand Ole Opry, coupled with announcing the Losing Sleep World Tour and releasing his seventh studio album, Losing Sleep, have all fallen in place in a magical week. Chris shares, “Losing Sleep is not just the title of my record, it is not just the title of the tour we just announced, it is not just the single, it is basically what I’m doing this week. I don’t know how we managed to get so many things on one week all at the same time… really two weeks I mean this week and next week I don’t have any time off but I wouldn’t have it any other way.” With many country artist greats like Vince Gill and Brad Paisley being involved in the induction, along with many friends, family and fans in attendance, this past Tuesday was truly a dreamlike night for Chris. “I don’t know that I could have planned it and executed it like this on purpose, so the fact that this all came together in one week, and it all means so much just as much as anything as much as lack of sleep, next week I’m going to be tired just emotionally man this is a lot but it’s all in the best way possible.” Fans can expect to see much more of Chris in the following months as he will be taking off on his Losing Sleep World Tour, with openers LANCO and Kane Brown. “I mean I don’t know that we could make this week any better which is perfect to me I mean if you’re going to have something like being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry on the same week with two other things like announcing a tour and releasing an album, especially for me my seventh album which seven is my lucky number that means a lot to me and this album means so much to me, I don’t know that I could have planned it and executed it like this on purpose so the fact that this all came together in one week, and it all means so much, just as much as anything as much as lack of sleep, next week I’m going to be tired just emotionally man this is a lot but it’s all in the best way possible.”
