OLD DOMINION: King Of New York

When Old Dominion‘s lead singer Matthew Ramsey started pursuing his musical dream he figured that he’d see his name on marquees and billboards, but little could he imagine that his picture would be featured in Times Square in the heart of New York City on the side of a building. Matthew was a little overwhelmed when he saw his picture on the NASDAQ screen in NYC, “I come from a town of less than a thousand people in Virginia, so seeing my picture seven stories tall in the middle of time square in New York City, it’s pretty mind bending” As fans continue to praise Old Dominion’s 2017 album, Happy Endings, Mathew isn’t the only one excited about his success, “I think my whole town and whole family and everybody is kind of flippin out about it, it’s amazing.” While Matthew, along with Brad Tursi, Trevor Rosen, Geoff Sprung and Whit Sellers have been able to do some pretty amazing and awesome things over the last couple of years, thanks to songs like “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart, and their new single “Written In the Sand,” Matthew admits having his picture in Times Square might be one that’s extra special, “It’s definitely one of those, ‘I think we made it’ moments, they don’t just throw anybody up there, it’s pretty trippy.”

You can check out Matthew’s Times Square picture that he posted on the band’s socials below…
