Flashback to August 2005, when Brad Paisley released his 4th studio album Time Well Wasted.

Following the success of his Mud On The Tires album, on August 16th 2005 Brad Paisley released his Time Well Wasted album which produced 4 of the biggest hits of his career–the fan favorite “Alcohol,” and the number-one songs “The World,” “She’s Everything” and “When I Get Where I’m Going (featuring Dolly Parton).” Time Well Wasted would go on to win ACM and CMA Album Of The Year, while “When I Get Where I’m Going” walked away with the CMA awards for Video and Vocal Event Of The Year, and ACM Musical Event Of The Year.

Since then, Brad has continued to release fan favorite album after fan favorite album, including this year’s LOVE AND WAR, which features his number-one song “Today” and his current single “Last Time For Everything.”

“I feel like the Album Of The Year award is something that really encompasses a lot of people. Next to Entertainer, it is the award that really involves everybody you work with…sort of I guess, in the next best way. Because you’re talking about your producer, your band, your co-writers, your family practically gets involved in an album process. I like that, it’s nice to share an award, and we try to make good albums. I mean, albums to me are more than a list of singles. It’s an art form, and it should feel like a journey, it should have various themes throughout. When Troy (Gentry) and Eddie (Montgomery) were reading the list of winners, at that moment I really really wanted it. When you start hearing Live At Folsom Prison, and you hear him saying Okie From Muskogee, and I’m trying to remember the other albums that he mentioned, but it’s like ‘OK, I want that.’ And it’s amazing to have won it.”
