Chris Young took to Facebook live Tuesday afternoon to share with fans how the first couple of days of the They Don’t Know tour has gone, “Been having a wonderful, wonderful week, obviously got a chance to kick off the tour with Jason Aldean. Thanks to anybody that came out to any of those shows…crazy packed arenas, having a lot of fun with him and Kane Brown.” Sounds like the guys are having a great time…oh, Chris also had one other bit of info in the chat…new music is on the way! Next Week! Chris shared the details “So, basically, in 10 days, launching a new single from a new record that I’ve been working on with Corey Crowder. Song’s called ‘Losing Sleep.’ Really excited. Wrote it with Josh Hoge and Chris DeStefano. Chris DeStefano, obviously, wrote a bunch of stuff with me on my A.M. record, and Josh wrote a bunch stuff on the last record, so getting the two of them together was a lot of fun for me…two of my really good friends.” This is not a complete surprise as Chris has been dropping hints for a while now all over his social media, but still, now there’s a confirmed title for the new song, “Losing Sleep” and the day it comes out, next Friday the 12. Announcing on Tuesday May 2nd, also meant something personally to Chris as that date is a big day in the history of his life, “Also today, being able to announce it is kind of special, cause this is the 11 year anniversary of me winning Nashville Star, thanks to you guys.” There will be many more hints and teases over the next week and half leading up to the 12th when we’ll all get to hear Chris Young’s brand new song “Losing Sleep.”
